I had such a lovely day in the city Saturday! It was actually quite warm and I managed to drag my sis around to a few vintage/thrift stores! She's not much of a thrift store shopper, but I think she had fun. I don't know why I never go to the city to look for vintage?! I guess I'm just lazy, since the city is so big & overwhelming. But since I can't leave town for the next couple days since my car is about to completely quit, I may have to take another trip to SF on Thursday! That is if (crossing my fingers) my car gets fixed on Wed & (crossing my fingers again) it's not too expensive!
Either way here are my finds from Saturday, they will all be in the store over the next couple days.....
i love the polka dot in the second photo. it must be nice living up in norcal! nice weather and all..it's really hot in LA right now.
ReplyDeleteYa, I love it up here, but it was really hot today... like 90! I'm worried that this summer is going to be miserable!! The brown dot dress is one of my favorites too!
ReplyDeleteWow, I am surprised, I always though large cities would offer very little in thrifting or it would just be too expensive! I love that last peachy-pink drop waisted dress!
ReplyDeleteMe too! I think it's just like anywhere else, you have to search! Some of it is overpriced, but it's also a lot easier to find because they have racks of vintage and I even found a thrift store that was all vintage - most of it at thrift store prices. I've still heard that the midwest thrifts are better... If only they weren't so far away....
