Back to black & white basics....

Although it's been forever since I checked out Hautelook's sample sales, I decided to take a peak this morning & fell in love with these bold black & white dresses by Thomas Wylde. They have a sexy feminine vibe to them that I love.  

I especially like the layered look of the second one, which looks like it may be quite easy to mimic with just the right black & white vintage dress, black long sleeved tee, & elastic belt. Here are my top two choices for today....

On a beach... somewhere....

So the boys dragged me to the new Fast & Furious movie, & although it is not really my type of thing, it was ok.  It made me want to slip on one of these dresses & head for a deserted beach somewhere in Mexico.  (Okay so I may have been day dreaming a bit during the movie)  But these dresses are lovely & although today felt like winter with the thunder storms and pouring rain, I can't help but dream of Summer... Or maybe I can pair one of these dresses with my favorite brown boots, belt, & coat when Spring kicks back into gear....  Either way, here they are & all will be in the store this week! :)

Lazy Sunday....

I hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday! I've decided to take every Sunday off from the store, however here are a couple photos of my outfit from today. I found this lovely little pink blouse from the 1970's. Its made of this silky Quiana Nylon, and is super comfy. I love the huge sleeves! I've also thought about modeling some of my items, so here's my debut... haha, it's actually kinda fun! Don't mind buddy's toys on the floor... I didn't realize they were there! :))

I must say that I've always adored French stye. Dainty lace details & feminine florals are my favorite. And although I haven't quite narrowed down my outfit for Easter I thought that a wonderful way to enhance it would be by adding one of these lovely vintage beaded purses.

Their pastel colored florals, intricate beadwork, & metallic accents are perfect for any Easter dress. Just the right amount of French femininity in an elegant classy sort of way.

Pretty in Pink***

It had to have been 75 degrees here today & what better way to embrace this lovely Spring weather than with one of these pretty pink sundresses?!  It's impossible not to have a smile on your face when you wear one of these.  It's something about the color pink, at least to me, that immediately brightens my mood.  And without being too overly frilly or little girl cute, these 3 dresses have just the right amount of charm.   After the week I've had, I think I'll try wearing pink to brighten my Friday! :)
